Uniting VoIP PBXs over varied built-in channel-forming equipment
Usage example description Purpose: setting up VoIP gateways with different functional FXO and FXS modules. From 2 to 32 single-type ports in increments of 2 may be installed simultaneously. Simultaneous operation of the FXO (MR-17V8/SMR-17Vo) and FXS (MR-17V8/SMR-17Vs) modules is possible, the modules possessing the functions of a mini-BPX. Any interfaces of SG-17R (Ethernet, SHDSL, E1) may operate as channel-forming equipment.

Linking IP-camera using multipurpose services on the basis of Sigrand router
Usage example description Purpose: providing “All-over-IP” multiple services by linking the IP-camera to SG-17R base platform, which operates in the router mode. High transfer rates on SHDSL and various interfaces on the router let almost any services be transmitted over single pair in various combinations. SG-17R used, the object will be provided with video surveillance, telephony, local network; the object will furthermore feature controllers, sensors, VF channels, digital PBXs, Wi-Fi devices. In common network a router may be linked up over almost any channel-forming equipment, running within SG-17R.

Linking telephones sets to PBXs using SHDSL
Usage example description Purpose: setting up VoIP gateways with different functional FXO and FXS modules using DSL links. There is no need to install any extra telecommunication equipment because DSL interfaces may be installed directly in the VoIP gateway. It is possible to establish a connection through additional SG-17E regenerators with either local or remote power supply in order to link up super-remote clients. The line is powered from SHDSL module. From 2 to 32 single-type VoIP ports in increments of 2 may be installed simultaneously. There is an option of simultaneous operation of FXO, FXS and VF modules. There is also an option of voice traffic transfer over other interfaces of the basic SG-17R platform, namely Ethernet and E1.

Usage example description Purpose: setting up VoIP gateways with different functional FXO and FXS modules and further data transfer over different interfaces of the VoIP gateway. Voice channels may be simultaneously transferred over any of the interfaces of the SG-17R device. Not only may Ethernet function as such a channel, but also may SHDSL and E1 (EP). From 2 to 32 single-type VoIP ports in increments of 2 may be installed simultaneously. There is an option of simultaneous operation of FXO (MR-17V8/SMR-17Vo), FXS (MR-17V8/SMR-17Vs) and VF (MR-17V8/SMR-17Vf) channels.
